This was a marvelous post, keep waking up with canvas, you people being you!

You’ve stole the thunder and now bring to light a new form of “keeping up with the Jones’s”…that is to now to “keep up with being who God made you to be”

Splendid and marvelous I say! Extraordinary and delightful! Go figure, people being the people that God created them to be in front of other people…how divinely spiritual.

Well, there are some of us that like you…for you.

As one rabbi put it, “When you die and stand before G-d, He will not ask you, ‘Why were you not like Abraham?’. Nor ‘Why were you not more like Moses?’. He will simply ask, ‘Why were you not more like you?’”.

Your photos seem to exude pure joy. And as a parent myself, I can only hope that no matter what path we chose as a family, even when there are twists and turns…at the end is joy.

I had to read this several times. For me, it ranks as one of the best blog entries I have ever come across, so simple, beautiful and profound. And liberating. What you have expressed is surely a call of this season, to be just who we are meant to be and not some caricature of it. So I’d like to say to all you jonesberries, keep being you, and some more! For us followers of your blog(s), I think it can be easy to feel ‘why aren’t we living as adventurously as this family is living?’ What strange and restless creatures we can sometimes be! The grass surely is always greener. But after your post, I am hungrier than ever to not live vicariously through someone else’s blog or life or life’s purpose, but to discover every day that hidden jewel which is God’s best for me. That which Father has created me for, which is uniquely mine to discover, to grow in and to share.
