CAMPING
You can go for wild camping if you want. With the exception of the campground in Prague 6 we find the campgrounds inexpensive and they have a pub! with cheap food.
FOOD
We love czech food.
You must try Gulash and Svichcova. Garlic soup is great. Ovoce knedicky (fruit dumplings). Smazeny syr (fried cheese sandwich).
It is as they say beer IS cheaper than water or coke.
Try “Kofola” (communist coke) instead of “Coca cola” it is cheaper and a cultural experience.
We actually lived here for a while in Prague. Our favourite restaurant was Novomestsky Pivovar (an old underground brewpub in the centre of Prague). Dont just stop in the front room see if you can keep winding down and down and down into the old cellars.
